After spending several vacations in other parts on the island of Madeira, we decided it was time to try this place for a change. And it turned out to be a very good decision. Because it was incredible. The hotel is located in prime settings next to a beautiful beach and boasts panoramic views over the blue Atlantic Ocean. It was like taken from a postcard! Additionally, we really loved the fantastic all-inclusive buffet that had almost everything you could think of. Just wow!

We have to admit that we hesitated for a while to actually write a review of this place, as we almost wanted to keep it to ourselves. Because the marvelous Pestana Royal All Inclusive Ocean & Spa Resort is one of the absolutely best all-inclusive hotels in Madeira. First of all, the outstanding location in Funchal couldn’t be any better, and includes the most stunning views over the sea. Secondly, the amazing all-inclusive dining will undoubtedly leave even the pickiest of travellers happy. And finally, the staff, which really goes above and beyond to make all guest's stay as brilliant as possible. Book now (...or else we will)!

The only bad thing we can say about this outstanding all-inclusive hotel is that you unfortunately have to travel home at some point. Everything else is truly exceptional. From the privileged location in Caniçal to the pristine luxury accommodations that definitely are some of the best we have seen on the island. Almost all of the apartments has unparalleled views of the sea and many even feature a completely private pool - just for you to use! A hotel that's ideally designed for both families, couples and groups of friends.
